“ CentreEducatiuBalaguer is a half-private school which has students from 0 to 16 years old. It is a small school located in the district of La Florida in Hospitalet de Llobregat. We have around 400 students from kindergarten to Secondary School. Centre EducatiuBalaguer is about to celebrate its 50th anniversary of foundation. The students do the common subjects such as Maths, Science, PE, Art, History or Languages as well as new subjects that have been recently incorporated to our
curriculum such as Projecs or STEAM. Students from the earliest stages develop their skills in English languages. We have different teachers and staff in the school. Each class has got a tutor which teaches some subjects to their group. Also, we have some specialsed teachers in foreign languages, music or PE. We have some people working in the administrative department, dinning room and cleaners, too. Our children can join some extra curricular activities as chess, English, Dance or Football. These activities are carrying out by people that came to our school only to teach these areas. Our aim is to lead our students to success in all aspects of their lifes. We have students who reached a good academic level and they go to universities superior studies and great careers and also others that at the age of sixteen they leave their studies and prefers to find a job”. Before starting with Erasmus+ Projects, our school partcipated in privately maintaned exchanges with Poland. We also had cooperation with other schools in Barcelona related to academic fields. In 2016 we participated in a K2 Erasmus+ Project. In the school we have a very determined and organised staff with enthusiam and willing to participate in new academic experiences. It is always a good opportunity for us to share methodolgies, ideas, resoruces and experiences with other teachers, countries and students.
